NFD (non fraudulent doodle)

An NFD is a not fraudulent doodle. They are only born into the world at specific events upon request and will be yours and only yours. No need for minting, blocking any chains or explaining to your friends and family why your life savings are missing.

The rules of NFDs

only valid during a special NFD live stream on Twitch:

1) donate £5

2) add colour or prompt and your preferred way of receiving your NFD

3) watch me set a 10-minute timer and finish the NFD

4) after doodle is finished, receive the .jpeg file

5) after confirmation of it arriving to you, I will erase all the content on the procreate file and will delete the file from the gallery (in a dramatic manner)

5) now it’s yours and you can do whatever you want with it (excluding commercial use ofc lol)

6) fun!

PS: the doodles are all the same dimensions (2048x2048 px)

The first test event was a big success! Making new pieces of art in such a short time and rapid succession challenged my ability to remain inspired and original. My audience was accommodating and supportive, creating an atmosphere that kept me wanting to impress and relaxed in doing so. The feedback from the viewers was also great, with many of those who purchased NFDs going on to use them as phone backgrounds, desktop backgrounds or banners.

June 2023 saw the last, 10th NFD session. NFDs have existed in this form for over a year, and the traditions have changed slightly. People had gotten into buying NFDs for each other as little gifts. My audience was consistent, with many people getting an NFD every session. I started to notice a pattern in many commission prompts (be it prompting me to draw a famous piece of art from my point of view, drawing a specific character, inside jokes or even moods). You can also notice interesting correlations with pop culture moments. When looking back at the archive, one can notice when the new Scream movie must have come out.

I still have all the procreate drawing replay videos of all the sessions (excluding the first test run), but have decided to not share them in the sacredness of the rules.
